Introduction
In the summer of 2002 a team of five undergraduates from the University of Cambridge travelled to Louise Boyds Land in North East Greenland. During the two month expedition they completed a programme of geology and glaciology, first ascents on four 2000m peaks and a 200km ski-trek along the Greenland Icecap.

The inland area of eastern Louise Boyds Land was previously unvisited from the ground, so this project has a genuine claim to be truly exploratory. We very much hope that the results we have received will have an exciting impact on the scientific community.
[Back to top] Idea
The idea for this expedition was first conceived by
Chris and Madeleine in October 2000. At the return of the expedition there had been well over 21 months' planning and thought towards the project. The number of people who have inspired or advised us well exceeds the 50-mark, and we would like to thank those who have helped and continue to show interest in the expedition.
